SAF have bombed the Bahri Thermal Power Station

Continuing their ruinous campaign of destruction, the extremist Islamic Movement battalions, allied with the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), have bombed the Bahri Thermal Power Station, causing extensive damage.

This deliberate attack targeted vital infrastructure, defying international and humanitarian law and ethical principles. This ruthless bombing reflects the desperation and frustration of the SAF and its terror-driven Islamic Movement allies in the face of their ongoing defeats.

We condemn these acts of terrorism and urge international and regional organizations to denounce the horrific crimes committed by the Islamic Movement and their allies within the SAF. These actions aim to forcibly displace the population and deprive them of essential services.

Our courageous Rapid Support Forces (RSF) soldiers are committed to ending this war in favor of the people, as we strive to achieve peace and stability and rebuild Sudan on new and just foundations. Our aim is to halt the decades-long injustice and marginalization endured by all Sudanese and to ensure justice and equality for everyone.
